Pinter play to be performed
THERE is an opportunity to see a revival of Harold Pinter's play 'The Caretaker' this month. The production is to be staged by the CAMP Theatre Company at the Menheniot Day Centre on November 22-24.
CAMP regulars Steve Jefferies and Phil Joyce are joined by Andrew Hawkins, artistic director at the Sterts Arts Theatre in Upton Cross.
The Caretaker was first performed in the West End in 1960. On this occasion for CAMP the intimate style of the play has influenced the choice of venue. Tickets are currently on sale at Phase 2, Liskeard, and the Spar Shop, Menheniot, priced £6. For the Friday and Saturday performances, a limited number of tickets are available to include a bistro-style meal after the play. These are £10. The performance will begin at 7.30pm each evening.
