Research profits
A Leukaemia Research fund event held at the Methodist church hall, Liskeard on November 4 raised £742.
Thanks were extended to all those who gave their services, support or items.
Ladies entertain
AT the recent Liskeard Sisterhood meeting Mrs W Hoskin presided and members were entertained by Mrs L Curtis, Mrs B Taylor and Mrs M Smith.
Members joined in with them on the last song - 'Let there be peace on earth'. Mrs Clue and members served tea and cakes.
