CAMPAIGNERS braved the stormy weather at the weekend to attend the official launch of this year’s Relay For Life fundraising initiative in Liskeard. Committee members of Relay For Life Cornwall gathered in the centre of the town on Saturday for the launch of the effort to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This will be the ninth year that Liskeard has hosted the 24-hour team relay, which is held on the second bank holiday weekend in May (May 28-29 in 2016), whatever the weather.
