As part of Calstock Arts’ series of ’Sunday Sessions’, the Liskeard Poets are appearing on Sunday, April 3.

There will also be a separate short classical recital from singers who have taken part in a weekend master-class. Eight singers perform classical songs and arias at the end of a master class with opera singer, Judith Sheridan, and pianist, Helen Porter.

This is one of a series of free performances at Calstock Arts.

Liskeard Poets are a group of writers who come together monthly to share their work and hone their writing skills.

As a group they have given readings at the Port Eliot, Looe Literary and Bodmin Poetry Festivals. There will be a shorter open-mic session where members of the audience are encouraged to bring their own work to share.

Free entry. Tea, coffee and cake available to purchase. All donations will go to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
