LISKEARD's under-14 girls' team certainly emerged with pride from the all-England Tesco Under-14 Cup finals at Pride Park, home of Derby County.
It had been a whirlwind eight days for the girls. After demolishing the opposition at the South West Regional Championships they only had a week to prepare for the National finals where they faced South East champions Southampton in the semis, hoping to earn the right to play either Leicester or Blyth in the final later that day.
