Liskeard Athletic 2 Bodmin Town 4

LISKEARD'S remarkable poor home form at Lux Park has left manager Martin Hodge a little perplexed after the Blues went down to their second hom defeat at the hands of Bodmin Town. What followed kevin Mee's opening goal from a Lee maddock through ball to give Liskeard the lead, was not part of the script, as the visitors hit back with three goals in 10 minutes. Dave mullis equalised from a cross that eluded both goalkeeper Dave Clements and Mark Loton, the lively Darren Roose scored Bodmin's second, with Gary Nicholson knocking in the third, to leave Liskeard shellshocked. The league champions came out for the second half a lot more hungry for the ball and were rewarded when Mee scored his second. Loton sent over a cross which Bodmin's veteran goalkeeper dave Philip parried, leaving Mee to outjump a defender to score. But that was as good as it got, as ian McKeller's free kick flew past Clements to give Bodmin the victory they deserved. Hodge said: 'We didn't perform and you get punished for it, ot's one of those things, but it's disappointing to keep dropping points at home. 'We did it last year so I'm not too worried at the moment as there is still along way to go.'
