LISKEARD-LOOE'S second team won the RNEC Cup by beating St Columba and Torpoint 19-9 in the final at The Rectory in Devonport.
Liskeard included new head coach Mark Goldsmith in their back row, but it took them 15 minutes to open the scoring.
Lock Mark Bunt was driven over for a try in the right-hand corner, converted from the touchline by fly-half Mike McCarthy.
Both sides tried to play running rugby in the next 15 minutes, but defences held firm, until Liskeard's pack was caught offside and St Columba scrum-half Ed Goodman slotted the penalty to make it 7-3 at the break.
