THE former Liberal Club premises in Liskeard have been sold.

The landmark three-storey building in Barras Street fetched £145,000 at auction.

Graham Barton, of auctioneers Clive Emson, said: ‘This particularly handsome property was an attractive proposition at auction with its prominent location in the town centre.

‘The new owner is a Devon-based investor who will now look to put the upper floors and the rear into more valuable usage whether commercial or residential.’
