CALLINGTON recorded a much-needed victory by a narrow one-wicket margin, in another thrilling game, this time at home to Grampound Road.
After being invited to bat The Road lost both openers with only 15 on the board, but then the two in form batsmen, Adam Cocking and Chris Hunkin added 59 before Luke Davis trapped Hunkin leg before with the County man offering no shot.
Matt South and Joe Bustin both got in before falling cheaply, and then in the 34th over, Callington made a big stride forward when Cocking fell on 46, leg before to Jim Shorten.
