A PLAN to build an industrial letting unit at Maders near Callington has gone to appeal. The plan, brought by Mr K Bennett, included the demolition of a building at the site of an ex pumping station. It was originally refused as it did not meet the criteria of the Caradon local plan or the county structure plan which says that industrial development should be within built up areas of towns. The appeal will be dealt with by the written method, and you can submit further representations by sending three copies in writing to the Planning Inspectorate, Department of the Environment, Room 3/03 Kite Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6PN, quoting reference number APP/KO80/A/04/1168904. A copy of the appellant's form can be seen at Caradon District Council's planning department, Luxstowe House, Liskeard between 8.30am and 5pm weekdays.
