THE Looe Cancer Campaign shop in Fore Street is looking for a little light music - for a special evening of fundraising.

The shop is due to hold its purchase and preview evening on Monday March 1 from 6.30pm to 9pm. This is the evening when the stock will be changed over from winter to spring and summer and the shop will also be re-launched with a new look.

HIGH winds resulting in rough seas once again robbed the Looe fleet of any really good days of fishing, though the fishermen are glad to see the lemon sole now coming into their own, and also some bigger showings of mackerel again. Better weather has been forecast ahead for next week.
