Through your letters page, I would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone who helped to make the League of Friends of Lamellion and Passmore Edwards Hospital Summer Fete such a great success.
Firstly, all the local businesses that once again supported us so well, the League of Friends' committee members who worked so hard before and on the day; thirdly, the people who gave their time to run the stalls, including members of Liskeard Short Mat Bowls Club.
I am grateful to The Owl Centre, Model Society and Line Dancers for their attendance, Peter Dukes for keeping everyone informed so professionally with his public address system.
With all your help, we have raised over £1,600 so far, the best ever, which is an amazing achievement.
