If it wasn't local it would be funny.

As the letters page stated, Webbs has been a problem for ten years. The answer, get a local authority to purchase it and then pour thousands and thousands of pounds in a never ending stream into it.

Strange how not one businessman has been able to see a way to make it pay, yet the good town council could? A money pit, a black hole, a loser, that is all it is. Knock it down, start again, is the only answer in a town centre.

Are there any empty derelict shops in Oxford Street, Regents Street, of course not! When Liskeard new town grows along the A38, people will look back and laugh at the folly of an empty refurbished hotel there.

(Sorry, but it makes me cross to see the innocent, gullible people of Liskeard being duped into taking on such a white elephant.

I may not be able to sway enough people from this course, but at least I've tried.
