KIERAN Faulkner, from Looe, was a member of Cornwall Schools' under-13 cricket squad on a successful cricketing tour of South Africa.
Kieran had an excellent time with both bat and ball, and admitted he was very impressed with the sporting facilities and hospitality from the host clubs.
The team's tour manager, Malcome Broad, along with his coaching staff and the parents who travelled, were full of praise for the youngsters' performance and conduct as they visited Johannesburg and Cape Town.
