A YOUNG boy with a muscle-wasting disease was given a special day out after being granted a wish by a national charity. Nine-year-old Jonathan Inkin from Callington went on a surprise trip, organised by the Make-A-Wish foundation, taking him on a VIP tour around a police station and a ride in a stretch limo. The day was then topped off when he was presented with a new laptop by two Imperial Stormtroopers from his favourite film, Star Wars. The Make-A-Wish foundation grants wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. Jonathan, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, was delighted with the day's events. He said: 'I couldn't believe the Stormtroopers delivered my laptop, it was so cool. 'I also got to buy loads of Star Wars games with my vouchers. It's been brilliant.'
