MAYOR of Liskeard Phil Seeva is inviting the local community to join him at the Mayor’s Candlelit Carol Service at the Methodist Church in Barn Street today (Sunday) at 6pm.

The service will be led by Superintendent Minister the Rev Mark Pengelly, and for those unable to attend they will be able to listen in on Liskeard FM (87.7fm), which is broadcasting the event live. Refreshements, including mincepies, will follow.

The carol service will also be an opportunity to view the Christmas Tree Festival in the church, which is due to end on Christmas Eve.
