THERE'S a chance for anyone wanting to get 2005 off on the best foot to enjoy a tour around the Mount Edgcumbe Country Park next week. Organised by Caradon District Council and the Primary Care Trust as the first of a series of guided rambles, the 'Resolution Ramble' will be a gentle walk for people of all ages. Held next Tuesday, January 25 the walk will also be an guided tour of the gardens and park. Starting with coffee at 10.30am, Nick Butcher, Mount Edgcumbe's deputy property manager will lead the mile and a half ramble around the country park, exploring the estate's history. The ramble is free of charge by walkers will need to bring or buy their own lunches and refreshments, and places need to be booked in advance.
