Liskeard are back on track for a top four finish following this convincing win at Truro. Without a victory from their last four matches the only surprise in the opening 45 minutes was the that the game had remained goalless.
But two minutes into the second half and Liskeard were deservedly in front. Teenagers Simon Parnell and James Gill combined for with the former crashing the ball into the roofof the home net.
Liskeard strengthened their grip midway through the period with Dean Tongue the Blues marksman after good work by Mark Skerton.
It was all or nothing for Truro as they foght back but well organised by the impressive Paul Sowden Liskeard held firm.
Truro's Chris Webb was unlucky when striking the visiting bar but their hopes were well and truely trumped when Jason Powell headed home Liskeard's third from a Gill corner.
With Saltash beating Millbrook 2-0 the gap between the two remains unchanged but Liskeard do have the advantage of two fixtures in hand.
