What started off brightly enough ended up as a pretty miserable afternoon for title hopefuls Liskeard.
Beaten at Bodmin and now Penzance these are games the Blues can ill afford to lose if they are to lift the title.
They do however still have matches to play against all their main competitors and the right results here would go a long way to righting the situation.
Goalless at the break Liskeard took the lead with Andy Bowker beating two defenders and curling a great shot around the diving Dennis Annear for a fine individual effort.
It was a crazy six minutes in which Penzance score three times that undid the visitors.
Former Brentford midfielder Dave McGhee who had a brief spell at Liskeard before turning pro sent Gary Marks clear to equalise before ex-Blues striker Addie Cusack gave the home side the lead when chipping over Vinny Bowman.
Marks was later brought down by Lee Bee and Andrew Mead completed the scoring from the spot.
