Title chasing Porthleven met their match in the opening 45 minutes of their tussle at Lux Park on Tuesday. Indeed the Blues were unlucky not to have reached thebreak a goal up as Mark Skerton's shot scraped the post.
In a nip and tuck second half Porthleven led in the 55th minute through Nigel Thwaites but Liskeard were on terms 10 minutes later thanks to Graham Macmillan. The score remained level until the 80th minute when Justin Harrington restored the visitors lead and five minutes later former Liskeard striker Andy Bowker made it three. Liskeard though had the last say through Simon Parnell.
