A change of formation brought a change of style of play and from the off Launceston were attacking Saltash giving them all sorts of problems with Alan Yendall involved in most attacking moves. It was Yendall whose shot should have put Launceston in front but the referee appeared the only person who didn't think the ball had crossed the line.
New signing Darren Clatworthy was having a good game constantly wanting the ball and Darren Fryer was full of enthusiasm and running.
After a goalless first half Saltash a bit more. Then with 15 minutes gone Steve Oliver was on hand to head home a John Best cross. Saltash equalised following a disputed free kick which took a deflection and gave keeper Pete West no chancve. Saltash's winner came 12 mins from time when a good turn and shot by Matt Penry found the net.
Overall Launceston felt they deserved the draw but do need to score more goals and make sure the ball stays in the back of the net!
