Liskeard were late into their stride at Bodmin and were three down before they finally woke up. Unfortunately the deficit was too much for them to make up and although scoring twice theycrashed to their firstdefeat of the season.
Bodmin dominated the first half and led after five minutes when Darren redding beat Vinny Bowman from the spot.
New player manager Sean Hooper grabbed the second after just 19 minutes following confusion in the visiting goalmouth from a Bodmin free kick.
A minute later Johnny May pounced for Bodmin's third.
Finally Liskeard began to come more into the game with Bodmin 'keeper James Handley tipping one effort over the bar.
One minute into the second half with Liskeard showing much more determination Mark Skirton pulled one back. In the 56th minute James Lynch raised visiting hopes when he netted a second.
But Bodmin dug in and although Liskeard pressed for the remaining half hour Bodmin held off the Liskeard attacks.
