Relatives of a Dobwalls man bludgeoned to death with a length of wood are calling on the Home Secretary to review the sentence imposed on a 21-year-old Looe man convicted of his killing.

Alec Pearn was jailed for six years at Truro Crown Court in August after a jury cleared him of the murder of 66-year-old retired plumber Peter Seaman (right) but found him guilty of his manslaughter.
