I feel I must write in praise of Caradon's new system for the collection of garden rubbish. It has really simplified my life.

In order to utilise every square centimetre in my compost bin for garden rubbish I no longer compost kitchen waste, that goes straight in the bin.

I have found someone who is happy to shred/compost the woody garden waste, but I have to take it there.

Being constantly aware of government exhortations to use my car as little as possible, I have decided that if I have to make a trip with the garden waste, I will economise by not driving newspapers, bottles or cans to the recycling centre but put them out with the rubbish - we have mounting glass and newspaper mountains so my conscience is not too troubled.

This saves me having containers around at home with these three items separated out ready for recycling.

Also, If I did have to buy your bags, I would have no compunction in putting out all 10 bags at once, something I would never have done before.

So, Thank You Caradon, you have made my life so much easier.
