The Cornish Times-sponsored East Cornwall Harriers Primary School Cross Country League concluded at Bush Farm near Pillaton.

Runners had endured some torrid conditions during previous events but were treated to a sunny day and ideal running conditions for the final race.

Overall team positions were still undecided, meaning every individual runner's placing was crucial to ensure a top position.
