You are to be commended for having published a letter from 'Compassion in World Farming' about goose liver pate.
Though almost 70 years ago, I well remember the indignation expressed by my fellow pupils when our French teachers told us how pate de foie gras was produced, and I am surprised now to read that in these more enlightened times and despite all the campaigning by organisations like Compassion in World Farming things have not changed.
