Bathers are being advised not to go in the sea at a local beach after a pollution incident which has killed hundreds of fish. A member of the public contacted the Environment Agency to report dead fish floating in the East Looe River on Sunday.
Environment officers found fish dead or dying along a 2.5km stretch of the river between Liskeard and Looe.
A total of 190 sea trout and 136 juvenile trout together with a small number of salmon were found.
