Caradon District Council's Licensing Panel have been recommended to approve an application by the Lord Eliot Hotel in Liskeard for the renewal of its public entertainment licence when they meet on Monday. However the council's officers have suggested that the new licence should be subject to conditions requested by the police, licensing officer, and the Environmental Health Department. These include a stipulation that CCTV tapes should be retained for 28 days, and registered door staff be provided at events that carry on beyond normally permitt
