CREWS from Cornwall’s Fire and Rescue Service worked to rescue a horse which has got stuck in a marsh on Bodmin Moor last Saturday (March 2).

Appliances from Delabole and Bodmin along with specialist line rescue resources from Bodmin and Tolvaddon were mobilised to the horse which was stuck up to its neck in the bog. It was reported that the crew utilised a winch from a ‘unimog’ vehicle to drag the horse to safety and left it in the care of a vet.
