PUTTING on the chains of office for the third consecutive year, Looe’s mayor Armand Toms said it was ‘an honour for a Looe boy, born and bred, to be mayor in his home town’.
During his acceptance speech, the mayor paid tribute to town councillors Katherine Bishop, Michael Soady and Paul Crossley, who have stood down, and welcomed new councillor Michael Smith.
