MP Sheryll Murray has signed the Holocaust Education Trust's Book of Commitment in the Houses of Parliament.

This week marked the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

'I have visited the camp and have seen what is left of the terrible atrocities for myself,' said Mrs Murray.

'We must never forget.'

The Government has announced that it will be contributing £50m towards a new Holocaust memorial and education centre.
