The team behind a community history book is to feature on Radio 4 tomorrow (Tuesday, January 9).
Linkinhorne will be on BBC Radio 4’s Making History programme at 3.30pm.
It’s part of the show’s ‘top towns’ contest, which pits places of very different sizes against each other.
Linkinhorne is featured because of the community history book Linkinhorne: The Story of a Cornish Parish, edited by Simon Parker, which dozens of local people pooled resources to produce.
The first week in the series saw Fort William against Reading. Fort William won and it went on to win against Greenwich in the second programme. Fort William won again - so little Linkinhorne takes on Fort William this afternoon.
It was recorded before Christmas, but the outcome won’t be known until the broadcast.
The book is available at the Book Shop in Liskeard.
