DURING the BBC Children in Need telethon you may have noticed that the Meningitis Trust was featured, with eight-year-old Levana being the face of the charity.
Levana, who lost both legs below the knee to meningitis when she was a baby, shared her experience of the disease with viewers.
If viewers of the show were inspired by her story, we would ask them to consider making a donation to the trust.
Visit http://www.meningitis-trust.org/donation/Donate-now">www.meningitis-trust.org/donation/Donate-now so that we can continue our work helping the thousands of individuals and families who are struggling to cope with the after-effects of this devastating disease.
Last year, the Meningitis Trust helped 20,000 people through its services and gave out £140,000 in financial support grants.
