A hairdressing student at Saltash College who once suffered from alopecia, losing most of her hair when she was aged just 14, has now said goodbye to her waist-length locks in aid of charity.
Level 1 student Mia Welch, from Dobwalls, has raised £350 for the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs for children who have lost their own through cancer treatment.
In front of friends, family and fellow students, Mia’s hairdressing lecturer Sarah Bratherton cut Mia’s hair short before colouring her new style.
