Do you enjoy a stroll along the seafront or a paddle in the pool? Maybe you’d rather be riding your bike or playing football with your friends.
Whether you exercise every day or you’re looking for new ways to get active, Cornwall Council want to hear from you.
Cornwall Council is currently developing a new physical activity strategy.
Residents of all ages and fitness levels are being urged to complete a survey looking at how people in Cornwall like to stay active and what they think about sport and leisure provision across the Duchy.
You can complete the survey online here: https://letstalk.cornwall.gov.uk/strategic-leisure-services-review/survey_tools/community-survey
The Council also wants to understand how our residents are using leisure centres as a result of the pandemic and how to ensure provision is meeting community needs and achieving best value for money.
Councillor Richard Pears, portfolio holder for Customers said: “We want to know to how people enjoy staying active in Cornwall.
“Many people like to use our existing leisure facilities while others might prefer other activities such as walking, gardening, playing football or dancing.
“They may also want to try new sports and activities which aren’t available in their area."
The results of the survey will help Cornwall Council understand the activities people currently enjoy and how they can shape their services so everyone in Cornwall can be ‘more active, more often.’
The survey will close on August 2.
