Residents of Millbrook can see a GP in their village for the first time in more than six months after the reopening of the local surgery.
Millbrook Surgery closed in June 2016 and patients were asked to register with the Rame Group Practice, which runs Pentorr Health in Torpoint and the Coombe End Surgery in Cawsand.
Over the past seven months, the Rame Group has been busy refurbishing the Millbrook premises.
The surgery now has two GP consulting rooms, as well as a treatment room for the practice nurse – so more patients than before can be seen during surgery hours.
Business manager for the practice Claire Greaves said: ‘We have worked very closely with NHS England and we are very pleased that we are now open in Millbrook and welcoming patients.’
