A support group for those who have lost loved ones is inviting others to join them.
Nevra Digoweth (Cornish for ‘never alone’) was started by Age UK in Liskeard last year.
The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Beech Lawn Nursing Home, but will now be meeting a little later than previously, from 2-2.30pm.
‘If you have been affected by bereavement and want to be around people who have some understanding of what you are going through, join us for a cream tea,’ said Emily Turner of Age UK.
‘Our aim is simply to offer practical and emotional support following bereavement. Whether you want to chat, listen or simply enjoy a tea and cake in good company, we are here.’
The group is free to attend but donations are welcome to cover the refreshments and venue. Organisers ask that those attending call ahead to book their place on 01872 266383.
