Patient transport in Cornwall is to be provided by a new organisation – but people have been reassured they will see no changes. Non-emergency transport will be run by E-zec Medical Transport Services Ltd, who have been awarded the contract to replace NSL by NHS Kernow. The service provides pre-planned and on-the-day transport between a patient’s home and a hospital or clinic. Patients should continue to use the service as normal before and after the change on May 28, said NHS Kernow.
