NHS Kernow is on the look out for two new members to join its governing body to support and oversee its work and decision-making.
The clinical commissioning group plans and pays for health and care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and has two roles to fill - one is to support its primary care and prevention work and the other dedicated to improving public participation and involvement.
The primary care and prevention job, which pays £9k a year for around three days a month, is a newly-created role. The post holder will work with NHS and public health colleagues to ensure more is done to improve people’s health and wellbeing by supporting people to stay as healthy as possible and manage any conditions they have so they can live longer and more fulfilling lives.
