The national charity Action on Hearing Loss is launching its free ‘Hear to Inform and Support’ service at the John Betjeman Centre in Wadebridge on March 15.
The ‘Hear to Inform and Support’ services will provide a drop-in for local residents to get support and guidance about any aspect of their hearing loss, from specialist equipment to hearing aid maintenance.
Run by Action on Hearing Loss staff as well as trained and supported volunteers, those who may be concerned about their hearing will have the opportunity to have their hearing screened to see whether they would benefit from visiting their GP and being referred to an audiologist.
