A new sexual health strategy for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly works towards key priorities, including continuing to reduce the teenage conceptions rate.

The document has been endorsed by Cornwall Council’s cabinet.

The strategy, running until 2021, has priorities including:

Reduce rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among people of all ages.

Reduce unwanted pregnancies.

Continue to reduce under 18 and under 16 conceptions.

Reduce onward transmission of, and avoidable deaths from, HIV.
