A health and social care watchdog has a new chief executive.
Healthwatch Cornwall has appointed Amanda Stratford, who has a strong background in the not-for-profit sector, to lead the organisation.
Amanda has worked as a director for charities such as the NSPCC, Unicef and Meningitis Now, and as a trustee for domestic abuse charities.
During the past four years, the organisation says it has secured improvements in care covering dental, domiciliary, GP services, end-of-life and more.
