A PE teacher is sharing fun workouts each day online after his own children challenged him to be Liskeard’s answer to Joe Wickes.
Oli Jones can be seen ’popping like a baked bean in the microwave’, singing the can-can theme tune like a French bean and running like a runner bean in the warm-ups to his fitness routines.
On his first day of posting, his daughter estimated he’d get 100 views but so far he has reached more than 1000.
Oli, who’s a Scout leader and East Cornwall Harrier as well as teaching PE around the local area, said he’d had some great feedback from youngsters.
’Some of them have even said they prefer me to Joe Wickes – he’s got ten million followers, if I get 500 I’ll be more than happy,’ he said.
Children and their parents alike have been enjoying the 20 minute-long sessions which can be done outside in the garden or in the house.
