Average life expectancy for men in the South West is 80.1 years, compared to the England average of 79.5 years.
The statistic is revealed in a Public Health England (PHE) ’milestone report’ into the health of the population in England.
The report also shows 59.2% of adults in the South West are physically active, compared to the England average of 57%.
