A generous legacy left to Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity through the Jeffrey Kelson Foundation is set to transform Green Spaces on the RCH site with a new garden space in the centre of the hospital site.
The project, starting on March 7, will include wildflower gardens, convenient footpaths, and seating areas of benches and tables. The memory of Mr Kelson will be honoured daily through this generous improvement of the wellbeing of patients, staff and visitors.
Connecting with nature has proven time after time to improve the health of individuals and communities.
A local landscaping company, David Foster & Sons has been selected as the chosen contractor for the project and will work for six weeks to overhaul the space.
