Would-be blood donors in the Callington area are being urged to register for a donation session on Monday, July 18.

The sessions will be held at Callington Town Hall at 12.55pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm and 7.15pm.

Karen Healy, senior marketing coordinator at NHS Blood and Transplant, said: ‘If you can make and keep an appointment you will be doing an incredibly important thing – helping us to save and improve lives.’
