Direct pleas have been made by the families of two schoolgirls from Fowey who have been missing for more than a week.

Isabelle (Issy) Bean and Roxanne (Roxy) Barron, both 15, walked out of Fowey Community College on Wednesday, June 30, and have not been seen since.

Family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned as the teenagers have not been in contact with them and it is thought they have little or no money on them.

Speaking to the Cornish Times in a direct plea to the girls, Issy's mum Amanda said: 'If you just let a friend or a member of the family know you are safe – that is all we want to know.'
