A total of 14 East Cornwall Harriers were among the field of 436 runners taking part in the popular Newquay 10km road race last Sunday.

The race is part of the Cornwall Grand Prix series, and is a chance for runners to notch up points in the tussle for the overall series prizes at the end of the year.

Harriers' Revis Crowle was the first woman back in the 45-49 age group and third overall, while Mary Mullarkey came out on top in the women's 60-plus race and Sharon Daw was third in the 40-44 category.
