GUEST speaker at the Callington Methodist Guild was Michael Horrell, who gave an interesting address. Quoting from the Bible reading for the day, which says how good shepherds are needed to bring the sheep through, he also said he had not found the answer as to how to bring the vast numbers outside the church in. Mr B Higgins chaired the meeting, and Mrs G Rickard played for the hymns. Tea and biscuits were served by Mrs G Olver and Mrs P Pengelly. Next week will be a very happy time for all as it is a social and music evening, with talented local pianist Jonathan Delbridge playing some favourite pieces.
