Guide Dogs have launched an urgent appeal to raise £420,000 in October to fund the lifetime cost of seven guide dog partnerships.

Throughout the month, the charity is asking people to donate an hour of their time by joining their local fundraising group at a collection.

As well as donating time, volunteers can help them reach their ambitious target by raising funds at home, work or in their community or by making a one off or monthly donation.
